Great little synth!
I usually play bass but wanting to expand my sonic palette I started looking into monosynths. I am extremely happy with my choice, great value for the money, wide range of tones. Another option was the korg monologue however the keys on the BSII are far superior. You also get a full envelope section. As a first analogue synth I couldn't be happier, it is fairly intuitive in the work flow of the controls and has even more hidden features "under the keys." I am running it through my bass pedal board and then onto an amp and am very content with how well I was able to incorporate it into my setup. You'll hear from others that the build quality isn't up to scratch due to its plastic chassis but that is only when put alongside a Moog or Roland, for what it needs to do it is more than capable. ... The only thing I have against the synth is that on the control panel some pots are shared (ie OSC1 and OSC2 controls) and you have to switch between them which prevents seeing what the parameters are in real time. You get used to this so it isn't really an issue I recommend watching the covers people do on youtube with the BSII as they sound great! Hope you enjoy it as much as I do:)
