  • DD-WRT turns it into a beast!

    I bought it to flash it with DD-WRT firmware and turn it into a repeater bridge. I have two wired PCs attached to it, plus a network printer, while it also serves wireless signal for our wireless devices (blackberrys, ipod, two laptops) I have not used with regular firmware so I cannot talk about its performance. It has gigabit ethernet which is a plus, and with DD-WRT on performance and feature set is outstanding. Signal is good, and I actually have to reduce power in order to get higher speeds - way too much interference and walls between this router and the main one (a WRT610N) In my configuration, I can even re-configure the WAN port into a LAN one so I would have up to five ports for wired network devices.
