Harald Loennecker nimmt mit seiner archivalischen Studie das Rostocker Studentenvereinswesen seit dem spaten 18. Jahrhundert bis 1935 in den Blick, wahrend Susi-Hilde Michael die wesentlichen normativen Rechtsquellen der Universitat Rostock fur das 15. und 16. Jahrhundert einer genaueren Prufung unterzieht. Ralf Modlich stellt den Pionier der deutschen Lateinamerikanistik Adalbert Dessau (1928-1984) vor, der das Fach in Rostock aufgebaut hat und durch seine internationalen Kontakte von besonderer Bedeutung fur die Hochschule wurde.
