    Samsung HW-JM45C 2.1 Channel 300 Watt Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer + Remote

    Hi, This is a very good moderately sounding 2.1 channel soundbar for the price. It easily defeats my name brand 60" TV's internal speakers by itself. I experienced the quality of the systems sound independently with my TV, CD's, downloaded cellular device media, game player, DVD's and Blu-ray's and was quite impressed. I then went on to interface my top name brand B[]$€ 9oh1's with it and then came the cinematic air gasping sound that you'd expect to experience at one of the state of the art Disney shows. I have the proof in my 15.5' x 11.75' living room that you don't need to spend anymore than $500.00 to $800.00 (if u can) to have very fun and exciting audio experiences with all your entertainment devices.     Sound is good, but remote is a pain

    I bought this sound bar because it was a Samsung and I thought it would be compatible with my Samsung TV. The optical (toslink) cable that came with it did not fit properly and it did not come with an HDMI cable. I had to purchase both separately. I now have better sound, but the sound must be turned on and off with the sound bar remote control. What a pain. Also the remote did not come with a battery (CR2032). Come on Samsung, I know you can do better.

    Samsung sound bar

    Fast and easy set up. Great base although over powering at some point but has volume adjustment. Great highs and not to obtrusive in size. Has many nice features like blue tooth and remote control.

    Great features for price

    I didn't want full theater experience, but this Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer (additional plus) works great and fills my living room with great sound from any source Xfinity X1, Blue-ray player, Fire TV, Xbox 360, iPhone over Bluetooth, you name it... It's fully compatible with my Thoshiba over Regza-Link... I'm running it only over HDMI, haven't used optical at all and sound is great... If you've Samsung TV than it can connect wirelessly to it... Over HDMI just make sure that you configure HDMI on your TV properly before start complaining :) Overall great sound system for money...

    I would have given it a 5-star rating had it not for the slowness of the unit to synch up with my TV every time I turn the TV on. There is a 15 second delay for the unit to turn itself on which is quite irritating. Tried getting help from Samsung Customer Service but nobody seemed to know how to adjust it. Maybe somebody reading this review has the answer.
