    A beginners guide to cheap woodcarving.

    Being interested in wood carving I often search for books on the subject. Most of them, including this one, are by American authors & refer to timber that is not easily available in the U.K. Anyone can find twigs though! It's not high tech. and doesn't strain the imagination or skill factors but does lead you into some basic - very - woodcarving skills. Ideal for anyone who wants to try their hand at a very basic skill but don't expect to produce showroom objects via this book.
