The 'companion' frequency referenced in the instructions is the audio subcarrier frequency offset, set it to 4.5 if you're in the states and broadcasting NTSC. Great condition and value for the price. It does get a bit warm, but a few little heatsinks do the trick!

Shipping took a little while but was not shipped from the UK so understandable. Not sure what the range is but given it has a coax port I'm sure it'd be easy to extend with a suitable antenna if required. Well designed :)

Plugs right into my computer too with HDMI & Power cord. There is of course some grain from time to time but I've been able to get crystal clear resolution. Been finicky with the colour, however. Probably user error. 10/10 would recommend to any analog hobbies!
