      so shiny!

      Who knew you could get these things, stick them to your bike wheel and be able to CHANGE SPEEDS? Simply amazing. This is so crazy addictive that I may have to give up riding my old townie bike for Lent. Seriously shiny. Just look at the picture! Gotta wear shades. I do like the SRAM stuff. Reasonable prices, it fits and it works. Good: I like the black keeper ring. That looks really cool. Bad: nothing really. It is all, like, exactly like my old one.

      Great Cassette For Old School 8 Speed

      Not much good available for 8 Speed. This is one exception. Good quality and lighter than stock. Replaced an 11-34 with this 11-28. Tightens up the gearing while getting rid of the low gear that I don't need on a heavy hardtail MTB that has three rings on the front. I don't even use the small front ring.

      Classic work horse

      Most of these last a bit over 6,000 miles. Some go up to 9,000 miles. I always replace them at the same time as the chain.
