Excellent seller - I bought 5 used CDs from him/her, all as described, and they were in my hands less than 48 hours after ordering, over a weekend. And extremely well packed too. Very good indeed - would use again. (And for once, Royal Mail didn't hang about either!)

Fantastic item! I've waited years and years for one this good. Free postage, great packaging, record at least as good as described, and great value. I couldn't be happier with it. Sensational! Do I sound effusive? That's because I am! Absolutely 100% satisfied and seller is 100% recommended. Everyone needs some Little Richard in their life.

  • A good selection of late fifties recordings

I was largely unaware of this Australian record label and so found the sleeve notes quite informative. However if you are expecting this to be a collection of Rolf Harris style tunes you'll be disappointed as only 'The Jockeys are Striking' by the Webb Brothers fits this mould. As the title track (a 1956 recording by Buddy Holly) indicates this selection is almost all rock and roll. Actually 25 of the tracks (like Buddy's) are American Decca recordings. Five more are other American recordings sourced via Top Rank. The remaining 20 Australian tracks mostly ape the American style and one track is actually by visiting Americans (Harriot and Evans covering a minor hit by Bobby Hendrick) and one other is by a New Zealand group (Herma Keil & Keil Isles). There are a couple of stereo tracks here ...
