Wish I had this book 30 years ago
Although I'm close to retirement age, I picked up The Dangerous Book for Boys based upon someone else talking about it. This book has a little of everything including magic tricks, knots, codes and ciphers, tree identification, finding true north, fishing, stories, grammar, and other curious topics including what the big deal with girls is. Take the best skills the Boy Scouts teach, add the best science projects from your own childhood, toss in some great history, poetry and literature highlights and that's what this book is. Every Dad out there should buy this book for his sons and then work through it together with him, dating each experience as you go.
