The Performance is exceptional by producing a 0 ppm water and at a faster than expected rate. The cost is why I gave it 4 stars. By the way the price from this seller is good in comparison, but the communication would be 1 star. The only down side is the cost of the filters, which can be extrapolated against the water being used and how much can be cleaned to 6 ppm before the recommended filter change. A good method to extend the life of the filter is to preclean the water with a cheaper filtration system first. You will need to do a little math. The other thought on this, drinking 0 water now that you have taken out all the minerals, you should be aware that these are the good things we need to consume. Our water is directly from the Silurian Aquifer via a 500’ well. Its TDS is 250-275. I follow the recommendation and change the filter when the tester reads 006. The first pitcher of water from my “new” filters read 006 (coincidence?) It held at 006 for about four fills then steadily rose to >050. I replaced that filter with another from this order and the first reading from that filter was 008. I can imagine a few scenarios that would explain this, but I won’t be using the remaining filters and will hope that Sam’s Club once again offers a 4-Pack for $34.98. Zerowater is great
Hands down ZW is the best filter for the money. Some complain they don't last long, but they need their water pre-filtered either with a softener or whole house filter before ZW can do its job. We use our filtered water for our pet's health and ours, and all cooking and everything tastes so much better. Our filters lasts for at least 45-60 days. Been using ZW for years and our health and pets is excellent.Hands down ZW is the best filter for the money. Some complain they don't last long, but they need their water pre-filtered either with a softener or whole house filter before ZW can do its job. We use our filtered water for our pet's health and ours, and all cooking and everything tastes so much better. Our filters lasts for at least 45-60 days. These Water Filters Works!
I replace these water filters every 10-12 weeks based on my current water consumption level. They make a huge difference in water quality! Using their TDS meter water tester, I find the filtering level even lower than name brand water bottles! You can definitely taste the difference. Once these water filter goes bad and needs to be replaced, your water will start to smell (you'll know when it starts smelling slightly fishy).I replace these water filters every 10-12 weeks based on my current water consumption level.
