Definitely worth buying
This system will definitely give you w run for your money, dollar for dollar. Sound quality is perfect and doesn't distort your music at loud volumes (hip-hop, Reggae, Go-Go, Jazz). The system has a loud button, that's not for factory systems. You need to upgrade your speakers because that loud button will definitely blow your speakers @ 20 (goes up to 40 of course). The Equalizer is a 10 multi-band EQ with separate Bass Boost (serious even on factory speakers) and Loud options, so you can suit it to your taste. Bluetooth Phone is clear on your end, but the recipient will almost always need you to speak louder, so you basically have to yell, so place your mic as close to the person talking as possible. Don't bother placing it permanently anywhere, but I recommend you use magnets, for the back of the mic and a small piece of steel for the base in a neutral spot on the dashboard. DVD playback is on the low volume side, hence the 4 stars. It plays without use of the E-brake by combining the (pink) brake wire to your (black) ground wire. The picture quality is perfect and it buffers nice, so hitting a bump in road won't mess up your DVD. Not a Blu-ray player. USB playback is good only for Pictures. Suppose to be good for small video playback, but I couldn't quite get it to work for me. Bluetooth Music is excellent, super loud, clear, not chappy at all. Equalizer works fully on this system in this mode. Its actually louder then the radio and I didn't at anytime need the use of the Loud Button. Cons: Inability to disconnect bluetooth from device. Even when off if a call comes through, it answers. So bye to your current device in your ear. No color change option. Have to stick with blue. With 3 dumb backgrounds One subwoofer output jack in two separate locations. (one per side of radio, strange) No USB video playback Low DVD playback volume Pros: 10-band Equalizer with bass and loud buttons Loud as hell Clear audio Smooth touchscreen Clear, clean picture Ability to use dvd without a switch Remote is easy to use and nice size Did I mention LOUD AND CLEARVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Sound quality is better than most aftermarket head units I've tried out at this price point, even with 20 year old factory speakers. Build quality is questionable but at this price corners will have to be cut somewhere. The plastic face of the unit came loose (brackets on side that screws fasten to broke off).
