very short story book
I bought this book as a gift which they love by the way. I have to say since I never saw the book in person, when I did see it after purchasing it at a Barnes and Noble store, I was disappointed in how thin it was especially for the price. I expected more knowing who the authors were. With that said, story and illustrations were 5 star. Of course having a book written by one of our First Ladies and her daughter is a piece of history as well. This fact alone is worth owning this book . Sweet message of the story is appreciated.I bought this book as a gift which they love by the way. Our National Parks are under great financial strain and facilities in the parks will continue to deteriorate without the help of donations. When my brothers and sisters were young, my parents took us to many parks. This book explains some of the fun a family can have in our National Parks. The message for conservation is subtle. I gave one of these to my grand kids and bought one for their school library.
