    Easy Way to Go From 5/16 to 3/8 Lines on E4OD

    I'm using this part on the E4OD transmission that I built and installed in my 1979 Ford F350 in place of the original C6. The transmission works great and having overdrive and a lock up converter is awesome. The only problem is that the transmission tended to run hot when I would tow my trailer using the original C6 lines, cooler and the cooler in the radiator. I decided to install a very large aftermarket cooler to go along with the one in the radiator and in doing all of this I also switched to a 3/8 instead of the stock 5/16 lines as used on the C6 and most E4OD's. This part allowed me to get the fittings I needed to go to a 3/8 line as well as adding some protection for the transmission if something would happen to the cooler.     Cost effective, perfect fit. 1999 F-350 Auto 4x4.

    This fit my 1999 F-350 with auto trans perfectly. All threads matched up and I only had to muscle it slightly to account for the 1/16" that it was out of alignment to get the front hole started after I had already installed the rear. No more leaking, very happy.
