    This is the best version - watch it!

    I was so pleased to be able to get this dvd at a bargain price and it arrived in perfect condition - even with the cardboard outer cover. In my (humble) opinion, this is the very best adaptation of Emma. All the actors are brilliant - I actually understood who was who and what was going on - the aesthetics and cinematography are absolutely stunning. The costumes and actors - Bill Nighy does a fantastic job as Mr Woodhouse and Miranda Hart plays a blinder as Miss Bates! It was lovely to see Callum Turner - always the rogue eh?!! This has become one of my absolute favourite films - it deserves every single one of it's 5 stars!

    Weak story line.

    A weak storyline that just limps along going nowhere. Boring to the extent of frustration. However, should your taste be period dramas centred on relationships, enjoy! Beautiful costumes and scenery however but dont expect any drama.
