Deep Purple (comprised of John Lord, Ian Paice, Ritchie Blackmore, Roger Glover, and Ian Gillan) are one most important bands of the British hard rock movement of the late 1960s. Here, the band is seen in their most creatively and commercially successful period performing three tracks for German television: The classic "Highway Star" (1972), "No, No, No" (1971) from the "Fireball" album, and "Hallelujah" (1969) the first recording made by this line-up, which isn't available on any album release.
