    dissapointing

    I have always favored a Promark 7A, but this model is different than what I have always used. The shank is thicker, and the bead is larger. When I hit my favorite Zildjian ride cymbal this stick makes a loud, dark, and unpleasant sound. I want a nice ping. They may be good for a loud rock band but they don't work for me. When I play with a loud band I use a 5A nylon tip.

    7a is the most famous and versitile small drumstick size

    Promark just made these drumsticks so precise and durable, i cant really think of another company. 7a is a small diameter, short and lightweight.. its very common and versatile .. pretty much a `must have` drumstick for every drummer.. at least must try once.
