A lovely little set of 10 Mike the Knight books, in very good condition & good value. They were sensibly packaged in reused packing, which I prefer where possible, but despite the packing being reused, the books were very safely packaged. The postage is what it is, & I am grateful the seller used Royal Mail as they seem far more organised & less prone to delivering damaged goods or losing them completely than some of the independent delivery services. These dvd's are fantastic!!! We found some episodes on the children's to channel for our 5 month old baby grandson, as he loves music and colours. It was the bet thing we found, he loves the Alphablocks!!! We are taking him on holiday in a couple of months time and thought the dvd's would be ideal to take with us. We have played some of them for him and he sits in his bouncy chair and rocks himself along with the music!!! He smiles when R, N and S come on, we think because of the way they talk and the colour they are. Brilliant buy, arrived quickly and securely. Teachers phonics to very young children
My grandaughter and I used to watch this series when she was small under 2 all the time, her sitting on my lap and talking about the characters and the words they were making. They are very fond memories, but my point is she could read by 2 and a half, she loved books and I am absolutely sure that these friendly little characters laid all the ground work for her love of books now she is 10. So when I saw you could buy the whole box set now I jumped at the chance to buy it for a friends small child. Keep at it. Good startDaughter has only watched the first one, watched it a few times already, didn't want to put the others in until she had understood the basics first. Will continue at a slow rate allowing it to sink in. I asked her a few questions on way home from nursery the other day and she was able to tell me what I was spelling out, ie c-a-t
