Best GPS for me so far...
I've had several Garmin GPS units over the years and this one had a nice surprise. It has a glass screen that is very sensitive to touch, making it easier to program. I bought a BC30 backup camera to pair with this unit and and it works well. The camera resolution is no worse than some other backup cameras that I have seen. Not real happy .
If I hadn't known the direction I needed to go the unit would have sent me north instead of south. When speaking an address to go to, the unit always gives an alternate address that doesn't even sound like the one spoken. Unit is too slow to come on in order to use for navigation. I like the way the suction cup attaches to my windshield and the unit is easy to put on and take off.
The only thing I would like for you to change is to allow the user to change the state/country, and to put in the zip code FIRST, which narrows down the list of addresses. The Garmin that I had before did this and I really liked it. The Trip Planner is confusing, but I will admit I'm not good at that kind of thing. I have had a number of Garmin GPSs over the years. I wear them out and replace them with another Garmin. This Garmin is easy to use and the voice command option works reasonably well. Great GPS. Size is good, image is clear, and it's easy to use. My old GPS had a very hazy screen that was difficult to see in bright sunshine. This one is far different.
