Once connected to the Car I was able to use the Steering Wheel controls to access the menu functions of the Car's on-board computer (which was the reason for the purchase). By following the instructions on the Connects2 YouTube page I was able to get the head unit to recognise the steering controls, but it only responds to Volume commands. I suspect this is a problem with the head unit, not with the adaptor.Once connected to the Car I was able to use the Steering Wheel controls to access the menu functions of the Car's on-board computer (which was the reason for the purchase). It works but it’s a bit awkward
This product is perfect to make the steering wheel controls work with a third party stereo, but the instructions that come with it in order to program and make it work with the car are not easy to read and make it hard and tedious to make it work the way you want it too. Other than that it is a good product and works well.
