Dada - Puzzle (CD 1992) Dorina, Timothy
I first heard this Album in a Hi-fi shop. The shop was using the 1st track on the album, Dorina, to demo amps, CD players & speakers. I fell in love with that track but could not download the album or the track so bought the CD off ebay. Very good recording. Bright, pop/rock, less grungy then their follow up album. I also love track 8, called "Timothy". Really underrated Band. No wonder they supported Crowded House once. Similar sound to the Crowded House Woodface album. Some good songs on here to hear. I don't generally like guitar/rock but lead singer and guitarist Michael Gurley can makes some beautiful sounds and textures on his Fender Strat. If you got this far on the review, hunt down a bargain copy of Puzzle by Dada. Good enough for the hi-fi buffs, good enough for Crowded House. ... I first heard this Album in a Hi-fi shop.
