Dryer now dries cloths like a new one.
The old cage blower came with the original and the center hub had simply worn out. Or to say it another way, the motor shaft was spinning inside the cage. This was an exact replacement and while the dryer was apart, replaced the belt and the rollers. Runs like it was new.

Picture in add shows an OEM Maytag blower wheel. The one you will receive will be a cheap China replacement much lighter in weight and color. Yes... There is a huge difference when it comes to OEM appliance parts. Referring to older machines that is. These type of appliances are commercial grade machines....thus why it's important to have the "OEM" parts which are commercial grade. You don't have to worry about OEM parts for new appliances since their all cheap and come from factory with China parts already. When it comes to the older "RELIABLE" units....always go OEM. Been in the commercial & residential appliance for quite sometime. Appears this picture is copy and pasted off of Google images. Picture in add shows an OEM Maytag blower wheel. Old Is New Again !
If you don't use your dryer for a few months the rats will make swiss blower out of this part ! But your in luck because this company will fix you up with the correct part at the correct price !

Loose fit on the motor shaft
This blower wheel fits loosely on the motor shaft, even with the clamp installed. My past experience (37-year-old dryer has gone through multiple blowers) is that once the blower wheel starts to loosen, it wears out quickly. Therefore I don't expect this one to last. It's disappointing, considering my usual good experience with parts from supplystuf.
