Excellent price, easy fix. Repaired my GE gas dryer in minutes; four screws and I was back up and running. Use a mirror under your dryer 6" from the right foot to make sure your ignitor glows orange. If so, it's probably these coils that have failed, causing no heat in your dryer and/or long dry times. Very easy DIY fix; save your money!

Fixed the no heat issue with my Maytag gas dryer

I have a Maytag Performa 3500 series gas dryer (after research, this works on 99% of the gas dryers of any major brand). The dryer would get hot for a couple minutes then lose heat, or not heat at all, and it would take 2-3 cycles to dry a load. I google searched it and the most common problem was these gas valves. These are the same gas valves on almost every gas dryer out there, compare the photos, if it looks the same, it is. I searched on youtube and found a video to take my dryer apart, and I compared the gas valves, they were the same ones, so I ordered them. I got the new valves and put them in. Dryer is now working just as it did before. The whole repair process took maybe 10 minutes.

  • Easy to install and a great price.

These parts were received in perfect condition and were an exact replacement for faulty parts removed. The color, the markings, the wire terminals, and the size were exact making replacement simple and easy.

  • Kenmore gass dryer repair

These coils fixed my dryer and it works good now. The dryer would start heating then stop for a large part of the cycle leaving wet load. Replacing these coils cured the problem. Easy replacement, once inside just unplug the two old coils ,remove the clamp with two screws lift the old coils off, then plug in new coils and place them where old ones were and replace clamp and screws. My dryer working several weeks now.

  • Check to make sure your part is bad before order

I order this without double checking, so i did not have to use it. You can run a quick test without opening the dryer. Remove the peep hole at the bottom of the dryer where you can see if the dryer fires. Run a 30 min cycle, and check to make sure it fires back on after it turns off. Turns out the issue was a clogged vent.

  • Dryer Valve Coils Are An Easy Fix

If your dryer is not getting warm it is one of several things. Most often if the vent is not clogged it is the dryer coils. Depending on the design/model it is a very easy fix. I can't say too much about the coils as they are just that; two coils. If they are not OEM they are exact copies. Had the dryer fixed in about 15 minutes.
