      sd sh-4 jb humbucker

      I replaced a stock humbucker on my squier '51 modified which was a little harsh with this p/u and it is smoother and better balanced with better sustain but it was not the improvement I expected for the nearly $70 I had to pay for it. Several years ago I replaced the stock p/u on my p-bass with an sd quarter pounder and I wasn't impressed with it either so I am just not a big fan of seymour duncan. should have invested in another brand.

      best pickup ever made

      i put this pickup in my gibson sg-x & holy cow did it make the guitar sound better, the stock 500T was too harsh & this pickup really smoothed the guitars tone out!

      A better pick up has never been made. Just my opinion but it sounds like a million bucks. Even the luthier that installed it made the comment that he was very impressed with the sound

      Great pick-up at a fabulous price.

      A great pick-up for more of a rock sound. It can be very bright, but with lower value pots it is more smooth.
