Great paint. This mirrors the finish on a Ferrari rocker covers. They crinkle up very well as they dry. They now look like new. Just ensure you bake them before you put them back. Tip- cardboard box and a electric heater does the trick.

    Top stuff

    The VHT wrinkle plus, is very easy to apply and offers an absolutely perfect wrinkle finish. Just follow the instructions and can't get it wrong. The red colours is vibrant and looks as good as the original ( honda red in my case ) USA Automotive is commited to deliver a product of excellence and provides a 5* costumer service.

    Hard to use

    I sprayed my rocker cover and activated the paint by letting the engine heat it up. This yielded inconsistent wrinkles. I've read you can get better results by heating up the sprayed item in the oven, or with a heat gun. Either way, it's not easy to get the desired result with this paint, even if you're used to conventional spray paints.

    Perfect for Sti manifold

    Very easy to use with fantastic original finish results. Also a good colour match for the Subaru Impreza Sti manifold. If you have never used it before buy 2 cans and do a bit of practice first. 1 can enough for an inlet manifold. Remember to have patience and read the instructions on the can and won't go wrong 👍

    excellent product

    excellent paint just like the old pj1.painted barrels on my rdlc bit of a glossy finish but i put it down to warming them too much but the side covers were excellent satin finish with a sheen like factory finish with the same can.i am now convinced that a usa satin finish is a lot different than a uk finish. you dont need too many coats i put 2 coats down so goes a long way.

    Good paint - but care needed

    Paint quality is good, but it is thick and the spray nozzle is very directional meaning you need to be very careful to get a light coat, especially on a complex shape like finned cylinder barrels - hence only 4 stars. That said, I am pleased with the results.
