The wheel is very thin - which may be a good thing. The down side is that with that thickness and the shaft used to hold it, it's just about impossible to introduce any lateral pressure - it just deflects. I used it with some glass block mortar and it was super slow at making any progress.

If you are going to replace/repair a ceramic tile this should be you're choice of cutting tool if you own a Dremel tool. It cuts through tile like it was butter. Take your time and don't forget to lay some tape down on the tile/s you are going to cut. I cut out a 30"X30" of 4.5" tiles of my center island for a slide-in stove. I was done in under 30 minutes. I found it easier to prep the kitchen area for the new appliances than shop for them.
