This club is Fair because it gives you what you put into it. A good swing of a "driver hybrid" we'll call it, yields plenty of distance and predictable accuracy. This club is Balanced because it (almost) gives you the length of a driver with a little less roll- out and the shorter shaft of a 3 wood that enables it to home in on fairways easier. So if you are playing a wide open Links style of golf it can stay at home and keep all of your extra putters company. If you are playing a wooded course with tight fairways and/or shorter yardages then give the driver a day off. This particular model has a real nice sound and feel to it. I typically use a stiff shaft in my driver because I am just around 100 mph swing speed, but I use this club in a regular flex because it is shorter than a driver shaft. It's a great addition. All said, this type of golf club has a place in modern golf, especially for amateurs that cannot spend countless hours practicing on a range with instructors, coaches, mental gurus and launch monitors. Simply grip...and rip.Read full review

The mini driver keeps you in play. I hit the mini as far everyone else using 8,9 and 10 lofted drivers. If you can get over 16 degrees loft for a driver you can say good by to slicing of the tee into woods.

Bought it for my 83 year old father who wasn't hitting his Burner driver very well. He gained 50 yards with this "Mini" driver. He hits it straighter and farther.
