    Probably made in the same factory as the name brand stuff

    Cyclists are a funny bunch. They have a magical belief system in name brands and weight. We ride bicycles, not pilot the space shuttle. The generic brake cable I bought works every bit as good as the jagwire I have in my shop. No difference in braking performance. The only thing that is different is that it cost me half of what the expensive stuff costs. Go buy it and do something useful with the extra ten bucks in your pocket.

    Works but is mushy in use.

    The housing is a bit mushy but fine for box store bike rebuilds. Smooth operation and the liner also helps restrain corrosion. Seems consistent from lot to lot. I use it as a less pricey option.

    Just what the doctor ordered!

    Excellent for bicycle brake linings. Cables move smoothly through the cable housing without any hitches when I pull the brake levers. Nice! I think lined brake cable housings are the best for this. Simply cut to length with a cable cutter, I personally use an icepick to clean out the cut ends a file to clean the ends. Doing this assures the cable slides through nice and easy. Usually leave off the housing ends until the cable is through then slide them up the cable and push them on the housing. Thats just a personal preference but whatever works works. A Real Nice Purchase Here.

    good as orginal

    With these lines I was able to re cable all the brake lines on my bike as well on my lawn mower. All the cables are of good quality and are easy to to work with just like the original, I highly recommend it if you are having trouble with your brake cables or any equipment that requires such cables to control it

    Right length, price and quality

    My e-bike requires longer cables than are usually provided with cable kits. The 25 foot length of this cable is more than enough to give the right length. It will also allow me to improve on the original cable routing. The quality is good and the price is right. What's not to like?
