I first bought this album in 1969 and it was in mono. I didnt much like the BEATLES,i was always looking for something else, and this was it.MICK TAYLOR,s work on this album is great"but probablly not by todays standards".BUT back to the music i have always been a serious music listener, being brought up listening to the radio.ANYWAY buy this you will not be dissapointed.SOME day im going to write a best of list im fed up reading those on line there all over the map.PLEASE people if do list please start them from your first favourites to the latest.GEORGE.
I bought this CD because I only heard it once or twice in the 1970's . This was the follow-up album to Bare Wires which is , in my opinion superior to Laurel Canyon . Still has some great guitar work by Mick Taylor , but just not a sensational record to me .
This album takes me back to 'the ol' country' where I grew up just as John did. Ironically, we both ended up here in California. I'm still here full time.
I have been looking for this CD to give has a gift for my brother for along time.He is into the blues.
