I love this putter and the price it's excellente. This club is 33 inches in length but i change to 35, is equipped with a steel shaft with a black, red, yellow, & white Winn Rossa grip. There are two removable weights installed in the head (2 - 4 gram weights). A steel wire-frame construction pushes the weight to the extreme perimeter resulting in additional stability at impact for truer, straighter rolls. Innovative Movable Weight Technology (MWT) allows you to redistribute the clubhead weight to precisely fit your stroke. AGSI+ Titallium face insert promotes forward spin for smoother roll and increases directional and distance control.Split grip.
This my second TaylorMade Spider putter, and I am a guy who believes in tradition with no short cuts and used to make fun of other golfers with the crazy looking putters. But having a bad lower back made me quit practicing with the money stick, and the game went south. So, I tried the long putters in three retail shops and found I could putt sweep and traditional style with the long putter in the Ping Pickemup, and TaylorMade Spider.
I recently bought this putter and have used it a few rounds already. My putts per round have decreased. I feel like I have a chance to make every putt now. The weighting of the putter makes it so that the putter doesn't wobble on you so you can keep your line. Also, the thick grip is nice so that your hands stay in place. Also, the ball does not bounce from this putter but has a nice roll to it and a great reaction off of the clubface. Some people will not like the way it looks but I think it is really cool. Everyone else who has tried the putter after they see what I am doing on the green agrees that the putter just feels sturdy and steady and they love it too. I am extremely happy with this purchase and my confidence on the greens has increased tenfold. I am no longer worried about 3 putts.Read full review
I received the Rossa spider as a Christmas gift, and at first I didn't like it because I had never used a mallet putter. It took me awhile and I had it in my head that I would never be comfortable with the mallet, so I went out and got another blade putter. The problem was, no putter has matched the feel of the face on this rossa putter. I tried odysseys and it felt like it clanked off the face in comparison. The feel was such an advantage that I went back to my old spider and have since gotten more used to the mallet. Lag putting with this putter is great once you get used to adjusting to the length you get off the face. I'm not sure if all Rossa's face/feel are equivalent, but after trying some other reasonably prices putters, I won't be going back.

After using the Rife for a couple of years I decided to switch to the Spider. This putter has the best feel of any putter I have used. I have the center shaft model and keep the adjustable weights neutral. This club excels in balance and follow through is made easy. The line of sight when at address is easy to see and does not deter from your normal club swing. Lining up the putt for your shot is made easier with the guide at the top of the club. Over all I think this is one of the best putters on the market today and would recommend it with out reservation.
