1. These are some of the smoothest nibs I have used and believe me I have been using fountain pens for the last 30 years!!!! 2. However, the only issue I have with these nibs is the SIZE.........., it fits only small pens like Airmail (smaller sized), some Camlin old models etc. 3. But if it fits your pen, these nibs are butter smooth

These nibs are very close to modern #5 nibs but have a tighter curvature. I had a vintage 'American' lever filler that I received with a rusted steel nib that I replaced with a cheap modern #5 nib but it was a little loose and just looked out of place. I put one of these nibs, after adjusting the curvature, and it looks much more authentic. The nib even has a little bit of flex, although you have to push a little harder than I'm comfortable to do with a vintage pen. I've only tried one of the nibs so I can't say if others will have the same exact mechanical properties but I eyeballed some of them and they seemed well aligned. Some of them are stamped EF, F and L (for Large, writes Broad). The L ones are two tone only and without breather hole so they are unlikely to have any flex.
