    It just has THAT sound...

    Great pickup. If you are looking for that vintage tone this is a great choice. It has the bite of the original single coil without losing any of the smooth, balanced lows. If you add the small resistor like the early 50’s P basses you’ll find the punch that a single sometimes lacks.
