The DVD box set was brand new, well packaged and quickly sent. The listing stated the discs were region 4, but the box had region 2 printed on it. The discs do play in a region 4 player, so are actually coded for region 2 and 4. The seller responded quickly to my query about this and confirmed that they had tested the discs. A great old-school TV show you can watch with the whole family.
I had fond memories of watching this with my family as a kid, and I couldn't find this in a streaming/digital version anywhere, so I had to *gasp* buy the DVDs! It's a great show to watch as a family. The characters are fun and heartwarming. Tim provides plenty of crazy antics to keep things interesting, but there's also quite a lot of character development and reflection. Tim and Jill are a great model of a loving husband and wife - they still do the wrong thing and get into arguments but they resolve it well and clearly love and respect each other. And there are plenty of jokes about what they get up to in the bedroom... but don't worry, these easily go over kids' heads. It's been quite eye-opening watching it as an adult! And as immature and silly as Tim can be, he does end up giving ... Great TV series, poorly packaged (by the manufacturer)
Why 3 stars? The main reason.. pretty much the only reason... The way that the manufacturer decided to package the set. It's cute that it comes in a 'toolbox'. What is not so cute, disappointing in fact.... the discs are stored in cardboard sleeves. The risk of the discs getting damaged, scratched etc.. over time... is pretty obvious. I immediately went to eBay to organise the purchase of 'aftermarket' dvd boxes. Fortunately we own a laser printer, and I was able to make copies of the sleeve covers for each of the 8 seasons, and with a little bit of trimming.. make them fit into the dvd cover 'sleeve'. The actual dvd's are great, it's a real joy to watch a 30yr old tv comedy series in dynamic colours, supported by crisp sound.Why 3 stars? The main reason.. pretty much the only reason... This is the best tv show when I was a kid and still is. It is a definite must have collection. The box is very sturdy with all 8 seasons in their own individual covers.

Excellent spectacular 📀
I watched home improvement years ago with my family and we loved the show. Thankyou so much. And it is excellent that I got them on dvd now I appreciate it so much having them at home now I really am. I will watch home improvement all the time and I won't be bored of them at all.
