  • Cool lens effect, kind of soft but it's go character

    Wow this lens is cool! It's very, very different than most lenses. It's not fish-eye, it's linear, which is weird and unique. It makes it so you can zoom in without refocusing. When you get the angle right can look really cool. I've found most wide angle lenses look best when they are above you facing downwards at between 30 to 60 degrees from horizontal. This makes the lens warp look 3D. The same technique works great for fish eye too. The image is a bit on the soft side. Most photographers will tell you that they like sharp lenses due to high pixel count, while creative videographers love lens with character. The projected image from the lens is rotated 180 degrees, which I'm assuming is how they got it to be linear. You can fix that in OBS using a 180 transform. The lines aren't curved ...
