This is an outstanding seller to deal with. Fair prices that are more than reasonable in this economy. The product is in better condition than described, a true value for my money. Packaged and shipped well shows seller has concern for the products he sells to arrive in excellent condition. The seller is friendly and communicates timely with his customers. I highly recommend this seller and would do business again anytime. Thank you.

Excellent seller -- good communication, item exactly as described, reasonably priced, well packed. Seller shipped immediately but the book took over half a month to arrive, due to the carrier used on the first leg, to get the package to USPS.

  • Good, But Confusing, Neuroscience Text

I bought this text for a Biological Psychology text, not expecting the class to be much more neuroscience focused. If that is what you like, then this text is great for you! For those who aren't as experienced in the biological sciences, the text could be intimidating at first, but you will grow used to it. The material is challenging and in-depth, but, for the most part, the text relies on clear and relatively brief explanations. The graphics are very helpful, as are the descriptions.

  • Easy to Understand

I bought this book for a graduate level brain and behavior class. For me, it has been like learning a new language, and the authors present good analogies to understand this complex subject. The accompanying DVD is very helpful in complementing the text to understand brain structure. There are 7 videos to choose from within the DVD; I wish there were more. Color images in the text are also effective.

  • Amazing

When I first read about the book I thought it would be very difficult for me to understand since it is my first book in Neuroscience. But I was rather surprised, the book is very organized and explains everything in a way that everybody can understand. I love it.

  • review of book

Ive only read a little of the book but I can tell its going to be an imformative and possibly easy read. The book has diagrams of the brain which is helpful. I had to buy this book for my Neuroscience class as a junior.

  • Good textbook if you need it.

Its a required textbook what more to say? It is pretty comprehensive and good for a textbook. Text and pictures are both good for learning about neuroscience.
