    Perfect replacement for A-B UIC

    Device works exactly the same way the real A-B 1747-UIC works. USB to Serial chipset inside the device is the correct FTDI chipset just like in the 1747-UIC from A-B. Configuration in RSLinx uses the same "DH485 UIC Devices" driver that the A-B part uses. Device is a little bit bulkier than the real UIC but also comes with much longer cables. I am very pleased with the device.

    Poor documentation.

    It works, but it wasn't easy getting there. The documentation is awful unless you read Chinese.

    USB to DH485 works perfect and I've never had any problem.

    I bought this product because I have newer computer without PCMCIA port. This is direct replacement to 1747-PCMCIA card. It works faster and it's easy to setup in RSLinx.
