Have not done a lot with it yet but it does work. I had 3 bad hard drives of which I was sure they were shot but using this item was the acid test. Nope! None showed up in my PC. I then put in a "know good drive" and I was able to "find it right away"! So yes this will be a big time saver not having to format drives inside a said computer. Glad I bought it. It can clone drives to. I have not tried that yet. Fast shipping and it just works right out of the box. Excellent!

The item took over a week to arrive, but the listing suggested it would take a while so I'm leaving positive feedback. I don't like how the listing said the item was just a few miles from my house, though. It was mailed to me from a location that did not match the listing. I believe this seller is yet another of the many drop shippers turning eBay into a knockoff Aliexpress, and that the item was still on a distribution truck or container ship when I ordered it.
