I just used this motor to repower an old AHM GP-9 locomotive. It’s a five pole motor it’s low end torque is great. A bit noisy partly due to the fact I had to remove the outer metal shield installed on it. I also had to shorten one of the shots an eighth inch to fit the drive shat couplers. Over all very pleased
