      A true account of Angel Meadow people in the disgraceful slums.

      Such a well written book. Each chapter relates to a true event. It gives a very moving account how hard it was for the very poor in Victorian England, living or just about surviving in the slums of Manchester.

      Angel Meadow, Manchester historical book

      Good book gives insight to the conditions that Mancunians lived through in Victorian times. My ancestors lived through the cholera epidemic at Ludgate Hill. Very informative.
