All my life I used the corded "Wahl Color Haircut Kit that has color coded guide combs," and the cord would get in the way many ways. Today, January 27, 2018, I have used this NEW "Wahl 5 Star Magic Clip Cordless" for the first time, and to be honest, it makes you want to give or do haircut even more often. It cuts your hair so smooth, that you don't even hear the loud sound of the hairs being clipped. I am very impressed and happy! The charging is not too long. I encourage you to buy it if you are searching for a cordless clipper. Cut 2 of my clients legal trouble
The blade arrived crooked. I tried to put it straight multiple time but when doing a fade the blade moves. I cut my client the first day I’ve used it in the shop. I thought it would be a problem that could be solved until I cut another client but that one was a walk in. The clipper was cheap but with the legal fees I need to pay now and all the stress it wasn’t worth it at all. You get what you pay for, go get yourself a good and new clippers. I've been cutting hair for over 20 years. I, for 15 years, ONLY used Andis Masters until I was introduced to Wahl. Since then, the are my main clipper for barbering. I currently use Wahl 5 Star Seniors, and Wahl 5 Star Legends but I wanted to try out the cordless Magic Clip. They ROCK HARD!!! Ready to use right out of the box, I can get about 5 haircuts before the 15-30 minute charge. They are EXTREMELY powerful and cut through ALL types of hair, as I cut all ethnicities.
