    good product, cuts threads for 3/4-16 go kart axles

    Great quality thread die for go Kart axles. I received this Die in a package without brand markings, so I was worried I had been sold a chinese knock off. I looked closely at the die itself and thankfully, it had Hanson markings on it. I checked the die for which side faced the threads (it wasn't clearly marked) and put some thread cutting oil on the threads of the axle. The die would only go on about 1/4 turn since my axle threads were so messed up, and I used a pipe wrench on the die to start turning it on. As a general rule, you rotate the die 1 turn, then back it off 1.2 turn, as this will clear the chips and relieve stress on the die. I did this 16 times, since the threads were an inch long and the die is 3/4-16 die. Once completed, I cleaned the chips off the axle and the die, and ...
