Item arrived broken (during shipping) and although they did
send a replacement, they sent it "Postage Due".
When asked why I should pay an additional $100, was
told that they only received $148.89 (The selling price) and
was told to take it up with eBay customer service.

I had a problem with the hammerhead the first time using it and contacted the seller about the issue. They got back to me the next day and fixed the problem with the hammer and sent me a new hammer. A few days later it arrived at my door. I would definitely recommend buying from this person. I'll be ordering a 1 kg forging hammer next time to add to my forge. Thank you very much for your help.
