Solved my rusty valve problem.
I live in humid East Texas, so rust is a common issue. These stainless steel valves were just the fix for my compressor. Note that I have a Porter Cable 60 gallon PXCM 601 which is not on the list of compressors these valves are designed to fit. They aren’t a precise replacement as they’re shorter and narrower by a small fraction. They are close enough to the OEM size to fit and function correctly. In addition, my compressor uses a slightly different screw and I had to reuse the old screws. They were in good shape, so that was a non-issue. After a few weeks of running with the new SS valves, my compressor is consistently making 155psi. Now it sounds like an air compressor should
This restored a 1991 Craftsman air compressor back to life. Easy installation. Would have been better of gaskets and filter in a combo deal, but easy enough to get them.

Craftsman 25 Gallon Air Compressor Reed Valves
These reed valves were able to be tracked all along the way in shipping and it arrived when promised. The valves themselves were easy to understand how to put together and where to put them. This product fixed the problem of my air compressor not compressing air.

Reed Valves for 50 year old Sears 2hp Air Compressor.
I had a intake reed valve to break in my piston -oil type Sears air compressor. I had no Sears model number since it was so old, so forget getting replacement parts from them! I went on-line and 'googled' reed valves. Saw a photo a photo on ebay that looked like them and a they listed a kit part No. Went back to Sears with this part No. and found it listed but cost over twice the ebay price and a week delivery time! I ordered from ebay, then discovered the ebay supplier was located in San Juan, PR! Started to cancel order but didn't -- three days later the part was in my mail box, and was a perfect fit for my compressor.I had a intake reed valve to break in my piston -oil type Sears air compressor.
