Great CD from a great band

Each album is an opera. If you only listen to one or two songs, you wont be able to follow the story. I saw them live and didn't totally understand until after I listened to the album from start to finish. All I can say is that this CD is incredible.

  • Awesome. Simply Awesome.

In going about my life, I heard a song. It was an amazing song. I love Classical music, and I love hard rock. This song I heard had both of these styles in it. They were intertwining in a majestic style I never knew was possible. This song harkened back to the magic of Christmas in all of it's powerful beauty. And so I searched for this song. Everywhere I turned, I had to find this song. Finally I found it. It is the fourth track on the album "The Lost Christmas Eve" by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. The song is titled "Wizards in Winter." I had to buy this album. This has got to be some of the best music I have heard in a long, long time. In a nutshell, what the Trans-Siberian Orchestra has done is that they have taken the best of Classical music and ...

  • Amazing Trans-Siberian Orchestra

This was my first Trans-Siberian Orchestra CD. It has become my favorite Christmas CD, as the songs on this CD will just grab hold of you and pull you in to the magic of Trans-Siberian Orchestra. I bought this CD, after hearing Christmas Canon played on the radio. At first I was sad that I had not bought the Trans-Siberian Orchestra CD which had Christmas Canon on it, but then I played this CD, and there was my treat near the end of the CD in Christmas Canon Rock! I love that this CD offers to its listeners the full range of Trans-Siberian Orchestras' musical talent. It is all there, songs that drip with the blues, jazz, classical, soft adult contemporary and hard rock. I also love the grinchy song What Is Christmas, as do my grandchildren. It reminds us that there are still grinches ...

  • I bought this cd for the harmonies ... and NOT the ones on the album!

As a last ditch effort to save our marriage, my husband and I had a date night to last years's "The Lost Christmas Eve" show. Oh my Gosh! The Trans-Siberian Orchestra was so awesome we bought the cd. We played it so many times that our kids can sing along to every word. In fact, I'd be willing to bet that even the dog could join them ... in perfect harmony. Alas, the harmony did not extend beyond the music, and my soon-to-be-ex and I actually argued over custody of the TSO cd. EBay solved the problem and restored some civility to my home. Now we have two copies - one for each new household. I even got to play the Gracious One and gave "him" the new copy ... after all, I know where to get another copy of this absolutely awesome cd at an absolutely awesome price. Thanks eBay!
