About this product

Product Information

A scaled-down version of the PlayStation 2 launch title, Midnight Club: Street Racing for the Game Boy Advance offers players a top-down perspective of the action as they race through the streets of New York and London. As in the PS2 version, the game revolves around a story-oriented career mode in which the goal is to become the best known illegal street racer by winning the 40 available cars from your competitors. Races are initiated by contacting rivals via cell phone or by following "hook men" that lead to the starting line. During races, drivers must hit checkpoints while avoiding damage-causing scrapes and collisions as they speed through tight turns and shifting lanes. As players win races, more enticing and difficult challenges become available. A password system is used to save progress.

  • Don't buy it!!!!

This game is absolutely terrible! Its sole purpose was to get PS2's best selling game to hit the handheld set, and the only handheld system availible at the time was GBA. The end result is noting short of disastrous. The cars do not blend with the environment, the dialogue is pathetic and the overhead view is quite possibly the worst way to present a "racing game". You chase cars around in your cab for like 10 minutes waiting for them to "approve" of you, then racing them (and several other weirdoes with the same car) through an incredibly twisted path of flags that you don't know how to find. What a waste of time! What makes matters worse is every other racer knows the path second nature, so you have to redo the race multiple times just until you get it right. And when you finally win, ...

  • Fun Fun

My son loves this game the most out of about 5 games we bought together, so that is saying something. He says this is one of his favorite Gameboy Advance games. He has about 15 of them. It looks like fun and has exciting looking graphics.

  • Not so great

I bought this game for the gameboy advance for my daughter for Christmas. I thought it was going to be a game where the player had a behind the wheel view when playing, but its a game where your view is from above the cars. Its not very exciting and the graphics are not very good at all. Although I thought it was a good price, I wouldnt purchase it again if I had the choice.

  • Fun racing game.

I've played this game before, and had a great time. Great real life driving experience. I would recommend this game to anyone.
