    Bright bulbs

    These bulbs are extremely bright and dont flicker. They fit perfectly into my sidemarker lenses, but didn't have enough clearance to fit properly into the license plate light housing. I took a chance and trimmed off about 1/8" from the end that plugs into the light socket, the flat part, and the bulbs fit and worked perfectly. I used a small cutoff wheel but I'm sure sharp diagonal pliers or a file could work also. Hope this helps someone.

    2011 VW Jetta SportWagen/Golf Variant CANBUS FAIL

    As these are supposed to be CANBUS ready, we bought a set of these for the front parking lamps on our 2011 VW Jetta SportWagen. While the LEDs are bright and the light is uniform, they still throw fault codes and set the "bulb out" dash indicator. In short, not recommended in this application.
