I am a total beginner, managed to use up all the discard as well as the starter that I bought. I will be making my own as I thought for a 2g dried sourdough starter the cost was excessive for me. I love John Kirkwood the way he instructs with his calm and kindly voice ( YouTube), will continue to follow him.
