    Building this kit could open some Lego eyes to greater things

    I love this kit! It's a great build showing off the intriquate design work that can go into technic. Lego rate it as 8+ however I suspect it would be safer as a 9+ kit. Younger children could play with the assembled product but it's not really one for the under 5 to play with due to mechanism of the excavating arms. The arms feature wind-in action which is amazing to use so the kit can become a very good lesson in movement, leverage and the combination of geared systems.
