    I bought this bulb for my old singer model 401 what is about 65 years old now but the bulb keeps blowing so I thought I’d try to put in one of the new type of bulbs so I ordered one and now I have got it it’s tight to go in so I got my dremell out and ground it out a little bit tuning all the time and trying it again and again and it fits perfectly so bright now as well I would recommend any other person to do it but be careful

    Bulbs were deliverd quickly and seem good quality. Not many suppliers keep this size of bulb. the "corn cob" type produces much better light than the older style led lamps and is worth the little extra cost.

    Bright white light bulb, the bayonet fitting is not quite a match for the original, the shoulder at the bulb end makes it a very tight fit in a Singer 201k. With a little patience it will go in though.

    Good product but make sure it fits

    Looks like a good product but did not fit the holder on my 185K Singer machine. the bayonet depth was not deep enough a standard bulb fits okay

    Bright light and stays cool

    This is such an improvement on the original lightbulb in my sewing machine which used to get very hot. This bulb stays cool and gives off a bright ‘daylight’ type light which makes everything easy to see.
