Slipping into the boots made famous by John Schneider and Tom Wopat, Seann William Scott and Johnny Knoxville play moonshine-selling cousins, Bo and Luke Duke. Along with their ridiculously gorgeous cousin Daisy (Jessica Simpson) and joke-telling Uncle Jessie (Willie Nelson), the Duke boys love to get the goat of Hazzard County's most crooked law enforcement officials, including Sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane (M.C. Gainey) and county commissioner Boss Hogg (Burt Reynolds). But when they discover that Boss Hogg is using his leverage to run them off their farm in order to turn Hazzard County into a strip mine for coal, things get personal. With the help of their faithful friends, Bo and Luke set off on their riskiest adventure yet.Showing his reverence for the classic 1980s show, Chandrasekhar incorporates freeze-frames, humorous narration, and extended action sequences, resulting in a crowd-pleasing romp that promises to introduce a whole new generation of fans to the Duke boys.     An overall good movie.

    First off I bought it to complete my Dukes movie set. Now I have all 4. Second Sean William Scott is one of my favorite comedic actors. Third It had comedy, action, car jumps. Also Jessica Simpson in her prime was very hot in the movie. Not the originals. But worth buying if you're fan of the Dukes.

    Fair to Good

    I bought two of these because the discs just won't play past half-way, poor quality discs for mass production, they skip and stick in the player, but it is a good movie, finally the third one worked consistently. Buy new, used may look okay, but they don't often play. Looked like oil sheen or heat damage in the one, but it was cheap enough not to complain. Take your chances, its a good movie, just buy new if you get a choice, and then cross your fingers.

    Dukes 2005

    I hated this movie when it came out in 2005, but oddly enough, after growing up, this movie actually aged well with time. And, didn't fall into the trap of political correctness, in fact, it mocked it.
