    Awesome product

    Steering was horrible on my MAXX v2 and I thought it was the sorry stock servo, but upon ordering and installing aluminum hubs, steering blocks and the hot racing aluminum bell crank and servo o saver, my steering is better than it was brand new.... WITH the stock 2090 servo still installed. The added durability is a plus, too. A great tip is to Loctite everything when you install it

    Locks up and breaks servo gears.

    This servo saver looks and fits together like a very well made product. But the issue is that the contact surfaces for the servo saver get dirt in between them and this causes the servo saver to bind up and grind itself down. After about 40 minutes of driving or one 6500mah pack my Maxx stripped the gears on the steering servo. I had this servo saver set to its weakest position so it would move easily if it needed. I checked for functionality of the servo saver to make sure it would move if bumped and sure enough it would fairly easily. However after my bash session was over I noticed my servo was clicking. I checked it out and basically the servo saver just stopped working. It had locked up solid and was actually as if my steering had no cushion at all. After taking it apart I was very ...

    Stock= silver spring, upgrades metal gear servo means this is a needed upgrade with the black spring

    Make sure you put the silver spring( weaker one) so you don’t break the plastic gears of the servo, I upgraded to the 2080x metal servo and I needed the black spring however it actually could be tighter for this metal servo now but I adjusted it really tight and it seems like it will work fine, definitely a plus that it comes with the different option in springs for the servo savor also it is now a required item that I got a metal gear servo with so much torque

    Well made

    Purchased Hot Racing and a Treal bellcrank to compare. Set them both at softest adjustment. The treal is so tight there is no movement from servo saver. HR feels good. Also Treal claims to be 7075 aluminum while HR is 6061. No way Treal is 7075 because it is definitely softer.

    did not lik it, put th soft spring in and adjusted th servo saver all th way loose, and stripped out gears on stock servo and a metal geared power hd one. now i put th stock servo saver back in and works great
